Valbisenzio is an established artisan company founded by two friends who shared the dream of making special cashmere items and a strong passion for textiles which they inherited from their families. 

In-house weaving nowadays is still made using antique shuttle looms dating back to the ‘50s and ‘60s which allow them to manufacture loose and soft open weave effects, uniquely characterising each item with rich volume and remarkable smoothness that are difficult to achieve with industrial looms.

A very well-tested internal structure as well as a trustable group of suppliers ensure the possibility to make precious manual artefacts which are typical of the Italian textile tradition. The manufacturing process is closely linked to local traditions but evolves constantly to comply with current regulations and standards.

Our skilled employees, gifted with their unique know-how and humanity are still the company’s most valuable asset.

The specificity of our crafts, the preciousness of the materials used, in addition to an accurate research and a dedicated design team allow us to always create new artefacts which are often printed by hand as well as always finished and carefully checked by the internal qualified staff to guarantee the highest quality standards.
